hbomax app does not work anymore. New app is called Max. Can I delete obsolete HBOMax app?
In 2023 HBOMax changed its name to Max. There is a new app which is required on the directv stream box. Can anyone see how to delete the obsolete HBOMax app?

Since I believe it is factory installed on the Osprey Box you cannot remove it. I’m sure DIRECTV STREAM will eventually remove it from the boxes.

All you can do it go into settings-system--apps and "uninstall updates"---that will take it back to the factory default app and only uses up like 10mb of space
