Green Screen Recurring Problem
This has happened many times. After multiple resets; which temporarily fix the problem, I Replaced the device. Same problem with new device. Have sound but bright green screen. When I switch away from Gemini and go through the Stream app there's no issues.

This is most likely a handshake issue between the Gemini Air and your television. Try plugging the HDMI cable into a different port on your TV (i.e. HDMI2 instead of HDMI1), you can try using a different HDMI cable, etc.

Thanks for the feedback. Tried all of the above.
At this point it's back to normal after a full reboot/reset; which is annoying since that requires logging back into your apps and gmail accounts

Sounds like the HDMI cable is not seating fully. I usually turn off box and TV pull and reseat cable 4-5 times then make sure that cable is fully seated . It can do this with no sound but you have a picture also. I hope this helps.

Nothing seems to work. I am convinced the Gemini Air platform is flawed. Green screen comes back occasionally and only goes away with full reset. No issues whatsoever when I switch to DTV Stream app. Wife likes remote with numbers otherwise I'd scratch the whole thing.

I have the same issue with ours. What TV manufacturer do you have? I've seen people have this issue almost exclusively with Samsung, which is what I have. I'm not currently at my home so I don't know for sure, but is the HDMI removeable from the Gemini Air device or is it part of the device? I have also used different HDMI ports and the issue always comes back up. I'm hoping someone here has a fix.

Samsung as well and we just had the problem return after 2 weeks of no issues following a reset. Such a pain.
HDMI is part of the device so there is no way to use anything that's different. It has happened in all of my HDMI ports.
Gemini Air is the problem because when I switch to the app the tree are no issues.

Sony A80J OLED TV owner here. I've been having the same green screen problem. I get audio OK and all of the system screens appear but it's only when it switches to any content screens that it becomes green. This not only happens when I try to stream via the box, but also using the app installed in my TV. I've tried securing the cables and resetting the DirecTV Stream box with no luck. The only thing that seems to work is restarting my TV. That gets it working, at least for a couple of weeks.

I'm having the same green screen issue with the Sony A90J. It's definitely a problem with the Gemini, as I had zero issues with my DirecTV box beforehand, and have not experienced this problem with any other peripherals (AppleTV, Roku, Gaming).

Still happening so what I've found to be the most effective and easy fix is to simply unplug the Gemini and wait a minute then plug it back in. Everything reboots but unlike pressing the reset button all settings remain intact and you don't have to start from scratch entering your Gmail stuff and logging back into your apps. It would be nice if directv could figure this s*** out.

AAZ, great suggestion, thank you! One of the outlets behind our TV is even on a light switch so a few plug swaps and this could be easy.

Hello Everyone and Many Thanks for all of your Suggestions and Comments. I recently purchased a NEW SONY TV Model A80CL to replace my Old Samsung LivingRoom TV and to NO END....I keep on Turning ON the New TV which has the Direct TV Gemini Box Connected to it Via HDMI/ARC and quite frequently it Powers On and ONLY Shows me a Blank GREEN SCREEN...I can hear Sound BUT NO PICTURE. What I do is Turn Off TV ....wait for Over a Minute and Power it back ON...Sometimes...this FIXES the Problem...but NOT Always. The other thing I try is to Push the RESET BUTTON on the side of the Gemini Box and Sometimes that FIXES the NO PICTURE/GREEN SCREEN ONLY ISSUE. And Today, I Simply Just Unplugged the SONY TV and GEMINI BOX....Both from the Wall Outlets and Waited to RE-PLUG Both Devices back on after about 3 Minutes. That Fixed my Picture Issue. I think Direct TV Stream Services and Gemini Box....All Work Nicely when Everything Works Well ....however, when these Glitches Just Keep on Happening...Over and Over Again....It All Becomes a Crapshoot and Extremely Annoying to the Consumer. Direct TV Stream...NEEDS TO READ ALL OF THESE COMPLAINTS and Take Care of their Customers...PLEASE FIX THESE ISSUES/GLITCHES with Future UPDATES to Your Equiptment I.E. GEMINI BOX and your Consumers will Have NO COMPLAINTS...and LIVE HAPPILY EVER AFTER. BTW...I Purchased my NEW SONY TV...Not Cheap AT ALL to Replace my OLD SAMSUNG...which was Having/Showing these SAME ISSUES....and NOW I BELIEVE...the PROBLEM does NOT Lie on the TV...but More So, with The Direct TV...Gemini Box and it's Current Software Programming. DIRECT TV STREAM SERVICE...PLEASE FIX THIS GLITCH......THANK YOU

Are you using the same hdmi cable that you used with the Samsung? Try a new HDMI cable and HDMI port. I've never had a green screen issue and have had DTV Stream since 2021. If the issue persists jus have DTV replace your Gemini device.
