Gemini receiver repeats reboot

My Gemini receiver has a solid blue light and reboots every few minutes or so but never gets past the screen with the arrow moving left to right. I tried reset using the red button. Unplugging and rebooting the router. No change. This just started today.

Press and hold the red reset button for >20 seconds to reset the box.

The same thing happened to me early this morning.   I had to completely reset the box by doing 10 red button resets in order to get it out of the boot up loop.   I wonder whether this was caused by an attempted software update that went bad.

I have reset it at least a half dozen times and it hasn’t worked.

You need to hold the reset button each time for about 20 seconds.   I had to do it 10 times in a row in order for it to break out of the boot up cycling.

What a piece of garbage they have foisted on us.  Constant, daily reboots, restarts, resets.  Endless buffering on every streaming service.

Amazon gets this right perfectly on a tiny little stick.  We get a big ugly box that fails daily.

We have the same problem. We have a 1 in 50 chance of turning on the television and actually watching a show without having to reboot the Gemini and/or the DirectTV box once, twice, 10 times. We usually just give up and go to the bedroom to watch using the old Genie remote.
