Gemini FEE…RSN FEE??!!!!
Please tell me you’re joking? I cancel Directv and come back during playoffs for basketball. Getting ready to come back and boom. What is this mess? 15 ARS? RSN? when att tv was setup like this I left until these things were done. Guess I’m gone again. This is a joke company. So id now be paying 138 bucks plus tax for a package that was 99.99 and before that 84.99 and before that with att tv I paid 50 bucks. Bye. No more chances. I hate YouTube tv but it’s my only option.

So anyone who finds this post. After poking around at the very bottom of Directv.com there’s a link to get to Directv stream and I mean at the very bottom where you’d find the legal stuff.. https://streamtv.directv.com for anyone not willing to poke around long enough they’d think Directv through the internet is the same as Directv stream. Bad business practices Directv. Just a way to lock someone in a contract with RSN FEES AND ARS FEES. You should be ashamed Directv. Removed the link from clear view. And by the time people catch on you’ll have hundreds in contracts they never meant to sign up for.

No contract - that's only "via Satellite". And although the page certainly implies an ARS fee for "via Internet", that doesn't really make sense, since there is no receiver. While it's possible that's correct (they've certainly done things in the past that made no sense), I am also willing to believe that they messed up the web page. There is a lot of confused info there, since they are trying to present "via Satellite" and "via Internet" as 2 options for the same thing when they clearly aren't (different content lists, different fees, etc.), so getting that wrong too wouldn't surprise me. I wouldn't be completely surprised if they have actually added a separate RSN fee for "via Internet", though the price variation vs Stream doesn't quite support it - Entertainment is $10 cheaper than the Stream version, but it doesn't have RSNs, Choice (which does) is $15 cheaper (which would make sense with the RSN fee separate), but Ultimate is the same price for both.
As far as the cost after 2 years - who knows? They say "prevailing price", and that is driven largely by price increases by the content providers to them (and likely to a much smaller extent, the competitors' pricing). The only high probability is that Stream will have a price increase during the 2 years that "via Internet" is locked.
