Gemini Air won’t update
I have a Gemini Air I got via the beta program with DIRECTV Stream. It will not update its software and it’s on July 2023 security patch. I’ve done factory resets, check for software updates, and nothing. Anyone else with an air have the current software? I don’t like having a non updating device on my network. Thank you.

Mine just updated last night after the chat represenative said they escalated the problem. It had not updated for seven months, but now it is on December Security patch and software version 30.6.15.30. The settings menus are now like Android TV as Ludwick577 mentioned. Thank you Directv for addressing my issue.

What software version is it on? Mine hasn't updated in a while either--but i don't think it's an issue. My Gemini box updated a few weeks ago with a new settings inferface --similar to a regular android tv device. That might be why it's taking a while to get an update. Mine is on 30.6.9.53

Gemini Air has been up and running non stop since I got it. Software version: 30.6.3.38

You can also disable apps you don't use in the "apps" area in settings.
