Gemini Air Dolby support
I think I already know the answer for this, but have they fixed the fact that the Gemini air dongles don't output Dolby Atmos? I just got the Gemini Air last week and I first thought it was my soundbar, but it appears it is the dongle. My Gemini satellite box on the same port is able to do it just fine with the same channels.
seems like false advertising if it does not and will not.

Hi there. DIRECTV's current products, including the Gemini Air, support Dolby Audio. To troubleshoot an issue, you can try the following steps: go to Settings > System > Device Preferences > Audio and disable Dolby Audio. This should cause the device to output PCM instead of Dolby. Please let me know if this works. Ariane, DIRECTV Community Specialist

That is correct. For Dolby Atmos, the format must be under PCM to work. Ariane, DIRECTV Community Specialist

weird.. that made it definitely louder by turning off the Dolby setting, but still no 5.1 output thru my sonos soundbar.
Its almost as if the dolby on setting is the opposite.
I already had my tv setup to passthrough audio to the soundbar, which is how i have it with all my other streaming sticks and the directv satellite gemini - which produces 5.1 audio just fine.
After listening to a few different shows it seems it is working now with "Dolby" setting off under the preferences.

I am guessing that because the Sonos system manufactures its sound, it needs the format to be PCM?
