Gemini Air device
I am taking the advice of some knowledgeable people, and I am going to use the DirecTV Gemini Air device to stream instead of the DIRECTV app. I have a couple of questions to ask:
#1 Per their website, DIRECTV will provide 1 remote free and each additional remote is $7.00 monthly. I would rather buy it out right. Any pro/cans on doing that?
#2 If I buy outright, does DirecTV sale them? I could not find anything on their website. Or can you provide the name of a reputable company or a link to their website where I can purchase another one from.
#3 If I purchase the remote outright it will take a few days for me to receive it. Can I use the DirecTV app to watch TV in the meantime? And if I can, when I receive the Gemini Air device, does the device override the app I have installed? Hopefully this makes sense.
Thank you. I appreciate your help.

Hello, @dwanak59. Thank you for your interest. We only offer Gemini Air devices for lease. And yes, you can watch using the app on a compatible device temporarily. Once set up, you can change inputs on your TV to switch between your TV apps or your Gemini Air device. Here's a list of compatible devices: https://www.directv.com/support/article/000093525 Kesiah, DIRECTV Community Specialist
