Gemini Air - can they be shared between houses?

My parents recently got DirecTV stream with 3 Gemini Air boxes.  I'm interested in piggybacking off of their install for my house by having them order some additional Gemini Air boxes.  Would those additional Gemini air boxes at my house count toward the 2 additional TVs + 1 iPad limitation of their service, or could we add as many Gemini air boxes as we want and use them whereever we want while still using 2 additional TVs somewhere else and an ipad?  Thanks!

Unless they're connected to the same home network as your parents' devices, you're limited to the out-of-home restrictions.

thanks for the info.  So if I have my parents add more Gemini Air boxes for my house, how does DirecTV decide which is the "home network".  The one with the most Gemini Air boxes?

It's the network where the first boxes were configured. That's the "home network".

Ok, thanks for all of the info, I appreciate it!  For the second network (my house), I'll probably just use my Rokus with the DirecTV app instead of more Gemini Air boxes.
