DIRECTV Streaming app not working on multiple Roku’s

When I download the Directv app from the Roku streaming store, open app, sign in, the app just spins and spins then I get this message “ We had an issue retrieving this content “ We weren’t able to load this content. Please give us a moment and try again “.

I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app and cutting power to the Roku and restarting. We have three different Roku versions and none of them are working with the DIRECTV streaming app.

I assume this is your first time trying / a new customer. If yes, remove all complexities inside your home network, like firewalls, and restart routers, switches, and extenders. Something at that level might be preventing all your Roku devices from reaching DTV. That would be my first suggestion.

Are you able to login to DirecTV stream using a web browser or smart phone/tablet app?

We are able to access DIRECTV Stream with our phones/devices.  All other apps work on our Roku with no problems.  I know others have had the same problem on this forum, but I haven’t read any solutions.

Did you ever figure it out DJ I’m wondering the same just signed up yesterday but it works from my phone. Won’t work on the TV nor let me mirror to TV
