DIRECTV stream sent me a new router and extender, will changing these out erase my DVR recordings. my DVR itself is in another room and they did not send a new one of those.

It seems very very unlikely that DirecTV would have sent you a router - that is something you might get from your ISP, and DirecTV is not an ISP.
And if you actually have Stream, then you don't have a DVR in another room or anywhere in your house - Stream uses a "cloud DVR", which means the recordings are on servers at DirecTV, not on any of your equipment, So nothing having to do with any equipment at your house will affect your recordings.
OTOH, if you have satellite service, then you likely do have a DVR device in your home, but you would need to post to a DirecTV satellite forum to get info from people knowledgeable about that service.

No, I have stream, but I do have a DVR in my room, and then it streams to all my other Amazon fire sticks, but I spoke to DIRECTV and they said the router and extender is just to make my Internet faster and will not erase my DVR recordings. Is there anyway I can delete my question?

Maybe - click on the 3 vertical dots to the top right of your post and see if “delete” is an option.
But I’m confused by your comment. If you have DirecTV Stream service, not satellite, then you absolutely do not have a DVR device for the Stream service in your room - the service doesn’t have or support on-premise DVRs. Do you have an Amazon Recast DVR? That is an DVR device that would stream to Fire Sticks - but it has nothing to do with DirecTV Stream. And again - DirecTV has nothing to do with offering internet service, so I don’t understand them providing you internet devices.
