DIRECTV stream gemini remote does not control sound
I have an LG TV and LG soundplate, but the Gemini will not control the sound. The TV is connected to the soundplate by optical cable. I spent almost an hour on-line with a CS agent going though all of the steps to pair the two with no success. Is there a solution to making the two work? I previously had DIRECTV and Dish service and both of the remotes controlled the soundplate. The Gemini does not. Any solutions? Is there a soundbar that will work with the Gemini?

Thanks for your input, @Ludwick577. @jrratcliffe, the Gemini Air is a much smaller device and is oval-shaped, while the Gemini is a flat square box. Are you still unable to control your soundbars? Shirley, DIRECTV Community Specialist
