Directv Stream Device C71KW-400 connected to Vizio P75-F1....HDR switch is off

My Vizio supports HDR but after selecting the top resolution choice (3840x2160p 60 Hz "Recommended" in the directv device setup the HDR switch is off and cannot be changed.

Ralphie, thank you for getting in touch with us. The device you're reporting issues with figures is a Mini-Genie in our system. However, you're letting us know it is a Stream issue. Could you provide us with more details?

Check your Vizio TV menu and see if your HDR is turned on. I understand some Visio TVs have the switch and others don't.

Yah I have to turn the HDR on with my Samsung TV to enable HDR on my Dtv Stream box. Samsung calls is "input signal plus"

Thanks for the responses. Vizio P75-F1 sets its HDR support by each HDMI input channel.  Mine is set to support HDR on HDMI-5 where I have the Directv Stream device (C71KW-400) plugged.  In setup mode to identify my television for the stream device I am given only a list of video resolution levels.  My Vizio's refresh rate is 100Hz / 120Hz which are not available in the stream device setup (60Hz or less). Device setup screen says my TV doesn't support HDR.....It certainly does support HDR....

I am using this device for Directv Stream service...not satellite service.  I don't know what a "Mini-Genie" is as I purchased this on eBay where it is listed as a Directv Stream device.
