DirecTV over Internet with Genie HR54-500 DVR?

I would like to get DirecTV over Internet (because I don't want to have a satellite) but I want to be able to use my Genie DVR.  Is that possible?  I haven't been able to find any wiring diagrams showing how to set that up.  I currently have spectrum cable at 100 MBPS and have ethernet runs to all TV locations from my router, as well as Unifi access points throughout the house for very strong WiFi.

Second question, I am finding very different answers regarding the DirecTV over Internet cloud DVR.  Can you pause live TV with it?  if so, for how long?  If the cloud DVR as close to performance of the Genie, maybe that will be good enough.

Thanks very much

Genie DVRs can only be used with Satellite.

Genie is for satellite only.

Streaming options can use Gemini (firmware is different so you cannot use from the satellite service if you have one). The Gemini Air is the dongle version that is exclusive to the streaming service.

There are two options for Streaming:

DirecTV via Internet - Requires proprietary DirecTV streaming box, 24 month agreement, fees similar to DirecTV (satellite).

DIRECTV STREAM - Bring Your Own Device (BYOD), like Roku etc. that you download the app to. You can buy DirecTV's box from Authorized Retailer if you want a more traditional interface with channel numbers on the remote. No service agreement and doesn't have some of the extra fees.

Thanks,  next question,

I have 3 TVs.  I am thinking about getting the Gemini Air for one of the TVS and using the DirecTV App on the other 2.

1. Will that work?

2. Will I be able to access the cloud DVR through the App?
