Directtv stream remote with large numbers
My parents need the larger numbers to type in channels. The small recessed numbers do not work for their arthritic hands. Is there such a device?

Not from DirecTV. Possibly 3rd party but be prepared to lose a lot of options that are available with the DirecTV remote like use of numbers and voice control, etc. The remote was specifically designed for their streaming device to mimic a cable like experience.

Search "large button universal remote" at Amazon and you'll find several options that are compatible with DirecTV equipment. But you won't find all of the same buttons or features as the DirecTV remote control.

Sure there are several compatible with DirecTV boxes, for example:
https://www.amazon.com/GE-home-electrical-Protector-Extension/dp/B0742HVB24/
https://www.amazon.com/Flipper-Big-Button-Remote-Seniors/dp/B002GR1YZ0/

The best remote would be the Directv RC73B which is backlit. It was designed for satellite but will work in IR mode with the Directv Stream Box. The numbers are much easier to read, and the buttons are raised higher. Your parents would lose nothing as far as functionality goes except for voice commands. You can purchase it from Walmart or Solid Signal.
