DirectTV on Samsung TV requires frequent re-login to DirectTV

I am having trouble with my Samsung TV (Q70A Model) when using DirectTV app. 
It frequently requires me to relog-in. Our family frequently uses the Direct TV app on 2 iPhones, 2 iPads and an external Roku TV device on a Sony TV. We don’t have this frequent request to “relog-in” on those devices using Direct TV App. We also use apps like Netflix and Prime Video app on the Samsung and do not have the frequent requests to “relog-in”. Who is responsible for the DirectTV app on the Samsung TV (Samsung of DirectTV)?  It seems very buggy or I am doing something wrong....  Anyone having this problem with a Samsung TV/suggestions welcome?

Yes, almost everyone who uses a Samsung TV with DIRECTV STREAM has issues. The recommendation is getting a cheap Fire Stick, Roku, or Apple TV to fix the issue. Or, you could get fancy and purchase the DIRECTV STREAM box from the online DIRECTV website for $49.99 refurbished condition. The DIRECTV STREAM box is definitely faster than the rest and has a handy remote that you may have been used to with cable.

One of our streaming boxes out of the blue today made me re-log in just now.

Maybe a software update. Sometimes it requires it.

Yah there was a software update. Got mine last night. Box updated to new software. Android version also went from 10 to 11.

I have tried to download the DirectTV Streaming App several times on the the Samsung TV to be sure I had the latest software.  But the other night I was requested to "Log-in" to the DirectTV app...yet again....when the TV was turned on. I did this "Log-in" one more time....but I ordered a Roku external device....as suggested by detuch254. Roku device installed and no more Log-in requests. Wish they (DirectTV or Samsung...don't know who has ownership of the App) would get this straighten out.
