Any broadband internet will work. The service is not tied to any provider.

The only issue is that some aspects of the service (specifically being allowed to have as many streams as you want on your home network) depend on your ISP not changing you home network's address (at least more than very rarely). Some ISPs are very good about that, others quite bad - I have no idea about Cox. I'm not sure how (other than maybe asking on the service's own user community) whether that is an issue for a particular ISP.
