C71KW-400 Gemini "2807 FAIL" with "No AOSP Server Found"
We were able to stream with this Gemini box as recently as yesterday (wireless connection from Gemini to modem/router). It stopped working this morning (endless sliding DirecTV arrow on screen).
(1) unplug/plug power cable to Gemini box (which was setup as wireless - no cable connection to modem/router), then wait for BIST flash screen look for server to no avail, then popup to go to "att.com/5107" for help
(2) hit the red button on the side of Gemini box (brings up BIST flash screen, which couldn't connect to firmware server because Gemini box was wireless I'm guessing, and probably the wireless connection got corrupted)
(3) At this point, I probably should have tried cycling power on the modem/router to try and restore the wireless connection to the Gemini box, but I didn't
(4) Connect Gemini box via cable to modem/router, then cycle power on Gemini box, then get a BIST flash screen with test result "2807 FAIL" with detail "No AOSP Server Found"
(5) Cycle power on modem/router

I had a similar problem yesterday but didn’t receive the error message. Try 10 red button resets in a row where you are holding down the red button each time for about 10 seconds. Others are reporting fewer resets will work, but it didn’t for me. Then the box will be reset and should get out of the error loop.

5 red reset buttons initiate the flashing mode, but DIRECTV STREAM has had issues with their AOSP server for awhile, so seeing error 2807 is happening to everyone.
If your Gemini continually boots to the BIST flashing screen, the flash memory may be corrupt (which means you need a new Gemini).

Hi there, thank you for the troubleshooting you have performed. Gemini and Gemini Air devices are currently having network connectivity issues and freezing on the loading screen. Please keep trying to reset the device every two hours. We are working to get this resolved as soon as possible. Once we have an update, we will let our customers know. We were able to find instructions for resetting the Gemini box (red button on side). I think it was a long 10+ second push of the red button. We used a jeweler screwdriver to push the button. We released the button when the "Resetting your device" came up on the TV screen.
We then waited 2-3 minutes for the activation process to start (interaction using the Gemini remote, including entering DirecTV account email and password). Another 5 minutes to get through the account setup options.
This is my elderly mother's streaming service, so the root cause is probably her arthritis fingers mi(Edited per community guidelines)ting the buttons on the remote LOL.
Positives:
I learned how to unpair/pair the Gemini remote.
I learned how to press the reset button to do a soft reset.
I learned how to press the reset button to do a factory reset.
I learned that we needed to be wired from Gemini box to modem/router (to get the best quality connection).
Status:
The streaming service seems to be working, although we won't know until we try to watch some movies on our services - Netflix, Max, Showtime. Eg, will we need to reinstall apps (eg ESPN+).
