I think @pshinn01 means the lights on the back (power-green and digital audio-red). So yeah, tape them or disconnect the device at night.

The ones in the back aren't even that bright I sleep with them on every night

you can always put the box behind the TV then you won't see the lights and you can still use it normally

I'll turn it to face the wall but cover it as well. Previous models had a switch that would let you turn it down. There should be one now as well as one to turn off the lights.

What's the purpose of that? NONE!
The point is to use their remote you need the box - the lights are blinding and we should be able to dim them. To view the streaming, we DO NOT NEED the bright lights on the box to distract from the view!
I have a solution - cover the box. In other rooms I use the Fire Stick which has ZERO BLINDING LIGHTS!

Never ceases to amaze me about how many smart (Edited per community guidelines) responces people give. The lights are too bright. My tv has a setting to turn the power led off...that's what people were hoping for...
