Auto sign in off but still signs in

One of our stream boxes seemed to loose all of our dvr recordings.  I did several resets with no luck.   After further digging it seem that the box is auto signing into an account other than ours.  Under general info the location zip code is ours but the billing is somewhere else.  All our boxes were purchased from DIRECTV and have been working for almost a year.    The auto sign in on this box is off (I don’t know how or why and our others are on) but the box keeps signing in without allowing us to sign in to the correct account.     All help appreciated.
