Annoying Beep sound coming from roku TV streaming?
Help, there is an annoying beep coming from every channel on my Roku TV. I have disconnected the sound bar and it still beeps through the TV. Any suggestions?

How is the Roku connected to your TV?
Does the beeping happen if the Roku is turned off or disconnected from the TV?

The TV has Roku built in, and the DirecTV app is already installed.

Hey @Kateeeeeeee, we are here to help.
Please follow these steps in order to fix your Roku sound issues and let us know if it works:
- Check the volume level and mute settings on your TV and any audiovisual (A/V) receivers you may have.
- Try changing the cable or changing the A/V cables, one at a time. Composite cables are usually red and white.
- Make sure that any composite cable sound connectors are snugly attached to both the Roku player, the TV, and any A/V receiver.
-Connect your Roku player to a different input to see if you can hear sound.
- Check or change your Roku audio settings by selecting Home, then Settings, and finally Audio.
-Set HDMI and S/DIF to Dolby/D.
-Set HDMI to PCM-Stereo.

This TV is not connected to anything, except the internet. It's streaming through the app - most of the above doesn't apply, the rest I have checked.

Yes, it only happens with this app. The other apps do not have a beeping noise.

Very puzzling. I have two TVs using Roku boxes and have never heard any beeping. Are there any audio settings in the DirecTV Stream App that you can change? For example, Surround Digital to Stereo?

I have the exact same problem with a TCL Roku tv. Only the DirecTv Stream app has the beeping. I am using the tv's internal speakers. The Fire version of the app doesn't have this issue.

Both of my TCL Roku TVs are fine. Is your audio set at stereo? Done any troubleshooting? Tried reinstalling the app?
