you dropped newsmax?

We didn’t drop anything, this is a community of customers who are in the same circumstance as you. 

There is always a chance it will come back by midnight (tonight) or hopefully by the end of the week. Only time will tell. 

If you want to cancel you can do so by calling DIRECTV (number in my greeting below) and saying ‘cancel’ to the robot to be sent to the retention/loyalty department.

@detuch254 All we really know is the channel has gone dark because the agreement ended. Does anyone know if it was Directv that pulled it or was it Newsmax? They are still negotiating and historically Directv is willing to continue carrying channels while they negotiate. In most disputes, it’s the channel owner that pulls the feed.

Likely newsmax pulled it. We don’t know for sure though as you state.
