UNFOX MY CABLE BOX
Request the direction needed to eliminate Fox News, Fox Business, Newsmax and One America from my cable subscription package. I am no longer interested in financing networks issuing false propaganda and misinformation that misleads everyday citizens. This is outright dangerous. Please inform me of what action I need to take to solve this situation. Thank you.

You can’t do anything. Let’s not forget the people on the other side who prefer not to pay for CNN, MSNBC, etc. they have the same feelings as you except they are on opposite sides.

You can't equate the two sides. MSNBC and NBC vs FOX news/OAN/Newsmax. MSNBC and NBC don't spread lies and propaganda. FOX news etc do. The Dominion settlement against FOX proves that. Soon vs Newsmax as well. Either way----just don't watch the channels you don't want. You are going to run into FOX on every cable and streaming company. Nothing you can do about that.

You can set up a FAVORITES channel guide filter to remove those channels.

Your option is to just give up on TV.
Networks package themselves to providers which in turn must package to us. There is no al-a-carte option in the industry for what you want.
At best you can set a favorites list to hide what channels you have but don't watch.
And One America News Network has been gone for over a year. Where have you been?

Best solution is to do what others do, just don't watch the channels you don't like. Works pretty good.

If you are afraid that you will accidently watch channels that you don't agree with, you can set up parental controls. At least you will have to go through another step before you watch.

Parental controls is only if you want to prevent your household from choosing what they watch by requiring a code to go to that channel. Just setup a Favorites list and gone from the guide.

@Juniper Actually this whole subject is pretty ridiculous. The real answer is just don't watch the channel.
I stand by the parental controls suggestion (as ridiculous as it is). It would be one more impediment.
Even if one did not "favorite" the channel it would show in the full guide and could be watched with just a couple of clicks. Parental controls would add more clicks.

Favorite list would personalize the guide. Hide not only the channels you wouldn't watch, but also the ones you don't get.
If you worried to the point you need parental controls to stop yourself from accidently punching in the exact channel number and having the screen steal your soul when a program from your evil channel comes on, then one needs professional help. (yes this is an exaggeration, but it is to emphasize my view that parental control is unneeded).
Yes the subject of the original post seems ridiculous, but it was someone who was looking to inform themselves on the option. Now being informed, they can make whatever decision they must.
But the fact they wanted to know how to remove a channel that has been gone for over a year...well that ignorance did appear ridiculous.

How about they take away your propaganda outlet MSNBC? Speaking of misinformation... Russia collusion hoax, Nick Sandman and the Native American, Kyle Rittenhouse, the laptop from (Edited per community guidelines) being omitted from any mention as prime examples. Deal with it like we have to deal with your nonsense news!

Hopefully OP now understands the reality of the situation and is not making complaints using very out of date information anymore. As thread being pulled up by unrelated posts almost a year later (possible spam), this will be CLOSED
