Is Gemini the only box I can purchase?
it is rather expensive and I don’t want to rent it.
I want to be able to enter a number for a channel. You cant with with Roku remote.

Only DirecTV devices support direct channel number entry.

To enter a channel number means you must have DirecTV proprietary equipment (Gemini). This is not an option for independent streaming boxes (i.e. Roku).
