Package changes

Can DirecTV put together a package that will remove Fox News, OAN, Newsmax from the programing?  I don't want to pay for those programs.

I’m sure they could but I doubt they will. OAN has been dropped, Directv no longer carries OAN.

How would you like it if a group of oF us convinced DIRECTV to cancel MSNBC and CNN?  Many customers despise those channels but still pay for it.  Maybe it’s best to just skip over the channels you don’t like and stop imposing your will on 50% of the country?

@Pro1A if you would like those channels to not appear in the Guide, set up a Favorite List that does not include CNN (202) and MSNBC (356).

@detuch254 I completely understand that.  The point is people trying to cancel conservative news networks can so they same rather than making all our lives miserable by trying to control others.  I noticed you did not have same response for all those asking to cancel Newsmax and Fox.

I have to say the Wackadoodles are still trying to close all but far left socialistic ideologies. The real fear is that the truth shows the false hood of the real fake media, and they are afraid of finding out their whole narrative has been a lie.

It is really strange that the "progressive left" that is all accepting, cannot accept that most people do not agree with their hypocritical "closed minded" narrow thinking beliefs.

I am an EX-DirecTV and AT&T customer. I dropped DTV because of two issues. 1. The nonrenewal of OANN and the extremes in WOKE programing. 2. The cost almost doubled for service. Consider your options and you may see you can have more for less away from DTV.

As others have already pointed out, DirecTV has already dropped OANN. This, it turns out, may have been a financial blunder but since AT&T owns most of DirecTV and CNN there was no other recourse but to eliminate any opposition that they could.

Instead of calling for the removal of a channel why not just ignore it and let it die on its own from lack of viewership, kind of like CNN plus.
