Oan
Why did you discontinue OAN and continue to sell, provide, and promote the left wing (Edited per community guidelines) organization CNN. The level of verified mis-information is legendary. I cannot support an organization that actively silences an entire point of view. One that is rapidly growing.

@cheesecakeman854 it was due to political motivation by the chair of the AT&T board and pressures from the woke left to cancel true news. See complaint OAN field against DIRECTV on OAN website… the details are eye opening.
many of us have already canceled.

the contract with OAN as well as AWE was discontinued earlier in April. If that means you need to cancel, you can by calling the number below in my greeting and say ‘cancel’ to the robot.

The demenour of @detuch254 was just fine. They were straight forward and gave the factual option. Carriage agreement was not renewed, as everybody should be aware as was a couple months ago it went through (though was notified at beginning of the year it would happen).
If you cannot live without OANN, then you seek another provider. Pure and simple. Nothing requires DirecTV carry the channel outside of an existing agreement. Sure it would have been nice if it was kept to keep more variety, but there was no obligation to do so. They can do business with whatever channel they want, it is not censorship.
Again, not sugar coating or not agreeing with those that cry to keep OANN is not an issue with demeanor. Simple answer: Carriage agreement was not renewed. Call DirecTV if you wish to cancel over this.

DirecTV as a business has their choice of what channels to carry, regardless of the preferences of some of the viewers. Our rights do not take away from their rights, a point many consumers seem to miss.
Again, he was straight to his point. Didn't insult like some others have done. Perhaps he came off as blunt to some, but he was polite.
I highly doubt the business decision is so the consumer is "protected" as you say. They have their internal reasons, though not explained to us. Either outside influence, they don't want to support the network for their own business standards, doesn't matter in the end. It is their choice.
