This is a public forum of other customers. We had no part in dropping NewsMax, and nor did you.

NewsMax’s feed was already pulled over a week ago and since then directv has added another conservative network called “The First” in it’s place. If this new channel doesn’t fit your needs, you can still access NewsMax free of charge on their app which is available via mobile phones/tablets and streaming devices.

I’m sure DIRECTV did take a hit when they dropped the channel, but obviously if they made the decision then they knew what the outcome would be. 

Guess for DirecTV the loss of viewers wasn't enough to warrant paying what Newsmax wanted. You may not like it, but that doesn't mean it was a mistake (serious or not) for them.

In any case, DirecTV is willing to accept Newsmax's return if the carriage agreement offer is reasonable for them.

And comments or not are not simply on one side of this issue. There are many who are glad it is gone and others who don't care either way.
