Thank you for bringing this to our attention. We understand that the decision to drop Newsmax from our channel lineup may be disappointing to some of our customers. However, it is important to note that this decision was not based on political bias, but rather on a breakdown in negotiations over carrier fees between DirecTV and Newsmax. As a company, we strive to offer a wide range of programming options for our customers, and we have recently announced the addition of conservative opinion and commentary network The First to our lineup. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and are always open to feedback from our customers.

I'm not paying more than I am now due to a network not working with a carrier to come up with a deal that works for both sides. 

Directv did replace Newsmax with another channel called The First on channel 349.  I have been told it is not as good as Newsmax though.  You also can watch Newsmax for free if you have the ability to stream it through the Newsmax app.
