You’ll just have to wait and see what plays out. DIRECTV and NEWSMAX could very really strike an agreement by tonight or possibly by the end of the week. If they don’t end up getting renewed you just cancel and find another provider that has NEWSMAX and the other channels you enjoy watching.

I can watch Newsmax on YouTube. That's not the point. PLUS I don't believe their (Edited per community guidelines) excuse.

I’m just speaking to you as a customer on a forum. I know as much as you know about the matter. You claimed you were ditching the service by February if NEWSMAX was not reinstated, and I answered that they could return programming as soon as tonight depending on if and when an agreement is settled between DIRECTV AND NEWSMAX.
Whether or not you believe their excuse, the fact of the matter stands that DIRECTV doesn’t find the need to pay for something that is offered free on YouTube (as you alluded to) or the own NEWSMAX app. That’s their rightful decision as a business, and our rightful decision as customers to either accept or deny and cancel.
