This is just a public forum of other customers. Whatever agreement settled between DIRECTV and NewsMax is beyond our knowledge as customers. All we can do is wait until tomorrow.
If it is indeed dropped, you can cancel by calling in (number in my greeting below) and saying ‘cancel’ to the robot. All leased equipment gets returned to a participating FedEx or UPS location with your account number. Be sure to keep the receipt given to you by the clerk so you can avoid the possibility of an equipment non return fee (ERF) as you now have proof of return.
Additionally, if you are somehow still locked into a contract, DIRECTV will charge you $20 for every month left. This is known as the early termination fee (ETF). These are restarted when you add/upgrade to new equipment or move services to another address. If you haven’t done this within the last 2 years, you should be good to cancel without the fee.

Same here. I don't know how long I've paid for Directv, but after One America was dropped, I contemplated dropping Directv. If Newsmax is also dropped, I will be gone. Mom loved RFD-TV, but she's dead now, and I haven't been happy with Directv's endless repetition of movies I've seen. Getting Newsmax and Foxnews keeps me interested, but I could buy a lot of DVDs of old movies for what I pay Directv every month.

I will not be waiting. If Newsmax is removed for even one day, I will find a new provider. Maybe we should be asking why only conservative channels are being removed. They already removed OAN! Enough with the censorship!

Having been a Directv subscriber for the last 23 years, I would like to know who do I contact in regards to Directv not asking if I want to continue to recieve NewsMax . Outright censorship - 1939 Eastern Europe comes to mind. This could be a great opportunity for DishNetwork, what with a massive ad campaign promoting they offer NewsMax

Funny how only conservative channels are being cancelled. Name one liberal news channel that has been dropped. I don’t believe DT has any plans on keeping Newsmax.

Check out Fubo TV. All the channels I currently have on Direct TV including Newsmax and it's cheaper.

Directv is paying more for the other news sites that have way less viewers than Newsmax. You know those sites that only tell you what they want you to know.

Yeah I made that call and was told they would credit my account $10 also. I said this should be $10 every month. And when I mentioned about total censorship and equated it to Eastern Europe 1939, she said "What happened then?" OMG. The woke culture is winning the battle in that the younger generations have been spoon fed their idealogical tyrannical view of history. Atleast for now I am watching NEwsMax on my streaming devices. The problem is the majority of Americans are getting their news via the fake media.
