Newsmax

You take newsmax off of DirecTV and you can stick your DirecTV and I have no qualms about it and I will pass it along and have everybody else getting a different kind of venue to watch

This is just a public forum of other customers. Whatever agreement settled between DIRECTV and NewsMax is beyond our knowledge as customers. All we can do is wait until tomorrow.

If it is indeed dropped, you can cancel by calling in (number in my greeting below) and saying ‘cancel’ to the robot. All leased equipment gets returned to a participating FedEx or UPS location with your account number. Be sure to keep the receipt given to you by the clerk so you can avoid the possibility of an equipment non return fee (ERF) as you now have proof of return.

Additionally, if you are somehow still locked into a contract, DIRECTV will charge you $20 for every month left. This is known as the early termination fee (ETF). These are restarted when you add/upgrade to new equipment or move services to another address. If you haven’t done this within the last 2 years, you should be good to cancel without the fee.

Not at all happy with Direct TV removing conservative news stations.    There are other options that I will consider if Direct TV continues this form of News gestapo tactics

According to Newsmax, AT&T cut their feed, they did not pull it. To say that consumer opinions (threats) are meaningless is strange. I will wait and see what happens before I make a decision on who provides my service.

I don't care what this forum is for I am a DirecTV customer for about that long because I'm closing mine down which is my right and you don't need to tell me how to end my contract with DirecTV and for the person up there that told me that it wasn't going to happen well guess what it happened. So you can agree with people taking your rights away and shutting down conservative voices but I don't have to and I don't have to pay a corporation that's doing just that. So with all that I've irritated voicing my opinion I will be off the DirecTV forum cuz I will not be a DirecTV customer. Good day

I ordered a fire stick and as soon as it gets here I'm canceling my DirecTV... We cannot live in a country where certain voices are silenced because a corporation doesn't agree with it. Why would I even think about paying a company like that any of my hard-earned money. DirecTV will never be in my household again.

Not sure how you reply to a certain comment but juniper if you're out there aren't you the one that said they wouldn't do it?

Oh no,  complain on an internet forum about losing Newsmax, that will surely 'stick it' to corporations.

Actually yea, cancel your su(Edited per community guidelines)criptions. The real reason was because Newsmax wanted money from DirecTV to stay on DirecTV. But sure Jan listen to Newsmax and their lies instead. Either way you're being played. Go touch grass. Conservative news is fake news. Always has been.

I don't like DirecTV nor do I like propaganda machines. Newsmax is free to watch online. But they will start charging you soon and they'll spin it off as "because DirecTV cut us off" blah blah blah. It is (Edited per community guidelines), but I know you conservatives will pay money to watch your fake news.

Interesting take. However, facts are facts. DTV pays for all other news feeds except Newsmax. Newsmax is on line but was scheduled to come off prior to DTV dropping them. So, you dont like the message. So therefor you deem it ok to silence any opinion you dont agree with. For someone who is an arbiter of the truth you dont do a lot of research.

@kimmie58 You should also look into TIVO OTA. The TIVO is a DVR plus allot of streaming and the "Skip feature" for the OTA channels to pass over commercials on recorded shows.
