Newsmax censorship - Goodbye Directv
In response to the dropping of Newsmax, the Dish installer is now at my home changing me over from Directv. This is after 28 years with Directv! Just want to say goodbye to all you conservative subscribers on the forum regardless of how you decide to respond to the censorship of Newsmax. I do hope you will send some sort a message to Directv letting them know we won't be pushed around and just take it. Keep fighting the good fight.

I am with you. First OAN, now Newsmax. With so meaning cutting the cable off you would think DirectTV would want to keep subscribers, apparently not. I am long time customer and in the process of moving my business elsewhere. Goodbye censors!!!

What kind of deal did DishTV give you?
More info will help others leave DTV!

Newsmax walked out of future talks so DTV replaced them with The First. Bye.

I just switched over to Dish and I'm saving about $35 per month now for around the same number of channels, and Newsmax comes with every package. I was skeptical at first, but Dish doesn't charge you additional fees like Directv (TV Access Fee, Advanced Receiver Fee, or a Regional Sports Fee). Other than a $5/month upgrade for the 16 tuner receiver I wanted, the package price advertised plus about $2 in taxes is the price I pay. I can also watch on my phone. There are charges for additional TV's if you have them. Although I was a Directv customer for many years, after OAN and now Newsmax cancellations, I felt I had to switch.
