@Susan1954 No, it is not censorship. The agreement to carry the channel ended and NewsMax chose to pull the channel rather than allow Directv to carry it while they negotiate. Directv can not just add it back, NewsMax has to let them. That’s not censorship. Please quit believing the disinformation you have obviously been fed.
Not paying what Newsmax now wants is not censorship. DirecTV did not "delete" the channel. They aren't given it in the first place because they didn't cave to Newsmax's demands for new cost.
DirecTV will negotiate with Newsmax if they ever decide to make a new offer.
TV provider not wanting to pay what channel is now asking is not censorship. There is no obligation that any channel be carried. This is the reality.

Then call DirecTV and cancel. We cannot put it back on as we are other customers like you.
Negotiations might pick back up, we shall see.
