Moving from Satellite to Stream

I've had my satellite dish for 10 years and I'm thinking about moving to streaming services.  I have questions regarding my Genie boxes. Where can I find information about changing services?  I need help walking through the process.

Unfortunately you can't migrate from satellite to stream. You must completely cancel DIRECTV satellite by calling in and saying 'cancel' to the robot. All equipment gets returned to nearby FedEx or UPS authorized locations. It is crucial that when you return the receivers, you keep the receipt as it is your proof of return. After canceling satellite, go to the DIRECTV website and sign up for DIRECTV STREAM. You can also sign up by calling an agent up. WHEN SIGNING UP. BE SURE TO USE A DIFFERENT EMAIL ADDRESS THAN THE ONE YOU USED FOR DIRECTV SATELLITE. If you use the same email address, you will experience log in issues and so many more troubles. When you sign up for stream, you can buy the DIRECTV Gemini Air device which is fast, responsive, and has a handy remote with a number keypad. Or, you can use other devices like Fire Sticks, Rokus, or Apple TVs
