Is Direct TV dropping Newsmax?

It was already dropped Tuesday night. They are currently in the midst of negotiating however there’s no guarantee the channel comes back. You can cancel DIRECTV, it’s your right. No one here is going to stop you and no agent will either.

As far as equipment DIRECTV will give you a very hard time with it if you don’t send leased equipment to a participating FedEx or UPS location for return. They’ll try to charge a hefty non-return equipment fee (NRF) that cannot be waived at all. Trust me, you’ll want to go to FedEx or UPS to return it properly than keep it on the lawn. Granted, of course, you want to save $500..

You own everything but the receivers and if not returned DTV will charge a NRF.  DTV will not pick up anything.

That would be a very unwise thing to do. Go ahead and cancel if you want but not paying what you have been billed will just result in your credit being ruined and debt collectors coming after you.

I'm giving it a week to see what happens. I realize that I can watch NEWSMAX with my Fire TV, as I do,but that's really not the point. Censorship in any terms should never be dismissed.
