I think this is a new one
I took the DirecTV dish off the side of our shed but left the bracket and while cutting the grass the other day I noticed that there's a new dish in replacement of the DirecTV dish that I don't know who put there. Who would do that what would the reasoning behind that are they somehow getting free TV or I don't know.....?

You mean to tell me that someone went on your property, installed a DIRECTV dish, and wired coaxial cable to their house Nextdoor? I’m not quite sure who would do such a thing, and I’m not quite sure why you posted here for that concern. This is a public forum full of DIRECTV customers.
No, they are NOT getting free TV. You don’t just get free DIRECTV by peaking a satellite dish. You also need a receiver and active card.

Contact law enforcement regarding someone trespassing and installing equipment on your property.
You cannot get free DirecTV as it is not a plug and play service. That receiving dish will have cables going to whomever is using it. They have their own account but are putting the dish on your property to get signal. That should be installed on their own property.
