Dropped channel
Why would AT&T not renew the DirecTV contract with One America News Network? As promised, I am cancelling DirecTV after this month since AT&T decided to go political and cancel One America News Network. I have been a customer since the mid 1990s, but will not tolerate woke corporations such as AT&T. See ya DirecTV and thanks for forcing me to learn new technology.....

This is a public forum and we are customers just like you. It is said that OAN was cancelled for financial reasons. Being that you want to cancel, you can do so by calling the number below in my greeting and saying "cancel" to the robot to be sent to the retention department. By prepared to be on phone for awhile because they want you to continue subscribing.

As of right now, you can still get One America News on Pluto TV for free.

Thats what one calls fake news. OAN was cancelled due to opposition from far left extremists. DIRECTV profited from OAN. Read complaint OAN filed against DIRECTV in California…. It’s posts on OAN site.

A bunch of us on here cancelled our DirecTV due to the dropping of OAN. There is a nearly 100p thread about it. Drove the mods nuts for a while, so they would close any OAN thread and move it there. I took some time to research options and started using Firestick and Roku on my two TVs, bought an OTA TiVo and another antenna, subscribed to Klowdtv for OAN and also subscribed to VuTV+ and more recently, SlingTV. There are ways to watch OANPlus for free (Pluto and Roku channel and also Klowdtv) and I think you can get Klowdtv on DTV Stream...the DTV agent I spoke with when cancelling said something about it when I called but I declined the offer to switch from DTV satellite to stream. Sending my equipment back was a breeze. If you decide to cancel, check your billing date, as they don't prorate anymore. I shut my box off the day after OAN disappeared, even though my cancellation date wasn't for another 2 weeks. I had my streaming and OTA stuff in place and my dvr was cleared so I was ready to give it up. Not sure how this will affect DTV in the long run but it certainly opened my eyes up to other less expensive options. I'm already saving $60+/mo. and I only had the Entertainment package with one DVR. Their prices have gone up drastically in the past few years and the canceling of OAN, which I watch 90% of the time, was the last straw for me.
