Direct TV Streaming and Firestick
My Firestick was installed months ago and has functioned well with my Direct TV Streaming. Now when In Direct Streaming and I select ‘guide’ or any other option it will not connect. I spent several hours with Direct TV technicians and they finally gave me a $50 credit and said they were working on a solution. It’s been over a month and I still can’t connect. How widespread is this issue?

Have you tried reinstalling the application and restarting/updating your Fire Stick? Also, are you able to access DIRECTV streaming on other devices?

I spent hours by phone and online with the technicians having me do every possible corrective action. Each time, the discussion ended abruptly with them saying their supervisor indicated it was a problem they were working on. They gave me $50 credit because of the predicament. Is no one else having these issues? I have two TVs with Direct TV Streaming hookups and remotes and they are working fine.
