CNN cuts out at commercial

Samsung TV is 15 years old. 
Accessing DIRECTV through ROKU. 

All the channels work fine except CNN. After a couple segments, it cuts out at a commercial break, and the ROKU homepage appears on my tv screen. 

Any thoughts on why this only happens for CNN?  And don’t say fake news!
