i am a 20 year loyal AT&T cellular customer with multiple phone lines.
i watch newsmax and wish to make it clear, if AT&T chooses to flex its influence detrimental to newsmax chanel, i must consider if i should take my loyalty elsewhere.

Already been flexed! Newsmax is gone, and a replacement has already been selected. Newsmax is available free via their streaming app and also on other free media.

If you wish to make it clear, then call DirecTV and cancel. Posting in a public forum does nothing for your account. No flex here.
DirecTV has used options within their rights. Nothing requires them to have Newsmax or any other channel, outside of a carriage agreement.

Nice try Direct TV....what is a matter...R U feeling some heat? "We remain open to working with Newsmax"....sounds like a classic CYA response when you know your wrong. Face it, this was NOT a business decision to serve your shareholders...dropping the #4 rated cable news channel? Seriously? You and AT&T are afraid of free speech and silencing the conservative view point. Precisely what Russia does in it state-run media. Pathetic....how about a reply that says...."We are actively pursuing bringing back Newsax to our channel offerings and hope to have a new deal worked out with coming weeks".

This is a public forum of other customers. If you want to lodge a complaint, call them and have it noted on your account. Or just cancel and find another option that has the channel you want.
Doesn't matter how popular the channel is, or what views it may carry on the news spectrum. All TV providers are allowed to have or not channels of their choosing.
They have left open the door for negotiations, but are not actively looking for it themselves. Pretty much if Newsmax initiates talks they will listen, though doesn't guarantee channel returning. That says absoultely nothing about anybody being wrong (except perhaps you for trying to add something that is not there).
Because that would be a lie at this point. As above, they will listen if Newsmax wants to pursure negotiations again but are not going to do anything actively themselves at this point. They are willing for the channel to be gone, even if you aren't.
They are not going to change what they say just so the outcome looks better to you.
