I wake up to see that Newsmax is no longer on Directv Stream. I am angry and will cancel my account if my favorite channel is not returned. I see that lesser viewed news channels such as MSNBC are still available on this service. Truely this is censorship!

Two companies not coming to a new agreement by the deadline of the current one ending has nothing to do with Free Speech. They have been negotiating for some time now. Not impossible channel could be gone indefinitely, but expectation is negotiations have only stalled out and that Newsmax would be back once that is hashed out. Time will tell.
But if you cannot live without the channel, even temporarily, then you are free to go elsewhere. Nobody here can change the situation as we are all just customers, so 'we' didn't drop it.
