Cancellation of Direct tv
Hello, I have been an ATT customer for many years. 1st you cancelled OAN, 2nd you just canceled NewsMax. I am about to cancel from using your services. You've violated my 1st amendment rights of choice. Either, bring back NewsMax or lose a loyal customer.
Sincerely Roy C Caldwell
Oh, btw, my cancellation includes ATT services as well.

Yes OAN was let go. As they announced, there was no chance of renewing the carriage agreement, it would just expire.
With Newsmax they were negotiating, but the agreement came up with no new one so naturally the feed drops as there is no longer an obligation for it to be provided to DirecTV. As we are days past that deadline, and a new conservative network has been announced, it is unlikely it will come back.
Your rights were not violated. Nothing about it requires a TV provider to give you any particular channel. Once agreement expired, TV provider and channel owner can part ways. You sure can not like it, but the outcome was within their rights. Channels come and go per the Terms of Service (ToS) not the 1st Amendment.

You're rights haven't been violated---you can choose to leave Directv and choose another service. It's hilarious the way these MAGAts twist things. I thought you all loved Capitalism? The ignorance is astounding here.
