Canceled dtv service

I just called and canceled my service. Att cell service is next.

The dtv rep had a bad shift in attitude when I declined to discuss lower billing options :(

I hope these woke companies wake up soon. It is sad that America has to go thru this. They can get woke just as neil young got woke w/ spotify. Lets go Joe Rogan, lets go Brandon!

you should go outside and yell out you cancelled your directv you will get the same result as you will here in a public forum of other customers.

The fact that employees respond like that is shameful and ignorant. Just supports my decision to cancel my DTV and other AT&T services.

Unfortunately, with low staffing, increased outsourcing to try and make up for it, plus the amount and attitude of those who call customer support means that agents unsuccessful with what they are required to do get frustrated easily and not handle it well. Certainly not an excuse for them being unprofessional, but it is those root causes that need to be address to turn that around. And that is not just DirecTV but many companies. I would think that call center work is not a career people strive for but just a job to pay the bills.

As for any responding with the "employee" tag, they are posting on their personal time. They can respond however they like, within the rules of the forum. They are not in an official capacity. Only the appointed "help" team on the forum is official support.
