DirecTV and Newsmax are in carriage negotiations. Hopefully a new agreement is reached before the deadline. If not, then Newsmax has the right to pull the feed until negotiations complete (though would be nice if they kept on as a sign of good faith for their viewers).
In any case, your mention of canceling means nothing. This is a customer to customer forum, not DirecTV official support. For official support you call.
