$475.00 AT&T phone scam
was contacted by phone from someone saying they were with AT&T, If I would pay $475.00 one time, my bill would be reduced to $95.00, Caller claimed this was a combined deal with Amazon, I purchased 3 ebay gift cards ($200.00, @$200.00, $75.00) and called AT&T number they provided caller. Needless to say my current bill became over due I had to call and pay on line. This caller actually accessed my account and showed me the changes even added for free Stars. Will At&t help in refunding my money. Any help would be appreciated

Here's as much help as you should expect:
Anytime someone makes you an offer, and requires you to pay with Gift Cards, walk away. Fast.
The people who suckered you will likely try again. Be on guard this time.
If you haven't already, report this fraud to the police. You can claim the loss on your taxes.
