I just looked this up when I went to the channel (sure enough, it’s not reinstated yet) and it says on the top of the screen “The First” will be coming soon. Apparently it’s a conservative outlet. I’m not aware of it but it shows Bill O’Reilly on the picture for it. I’m not happy about removing News

I'm getting set to leave DirecTv. Dish is offering Newsmax on all packages and a $100 gift card.

I am contemplating cancelling this service. I primarily watch the NewsMax news channel for national news and previously watched OAN.  Is DirecTV planning to reinstate NewsMax? Please advise why I shouldn't cancel your service given you've cancelled this channel. To others - the competing

If you want to cancel Newsmax I will cancel all of my services with DirecTV as well as AT&T, this includes my business account. Go woke, go broke. 

Once again DirectTV has removed a popular conservative channel (Newsmax). One excuse I have heard is that it is due to licensing fees. Yet there are many less popular liberal channels that receive significantly higher fees than Newsmax. Eventually DirecTV will learn as liberal Twitter users did that

Bring NEWSMAX Back

When is Newsmax going to be re-instated? I chose Direct TV so I could watch Newsmax. You will lose many good paying customers by restricting the access to good news programming. Greta, Rob & Eric are watched nightly. You don't need Newsmax, I don't need Direct TV.

My husband and I are conservatives and watch the news that offers those veiws! Since DirecTV has not kept NEWSMAX on their plan we are looking for another alternative. I have been a DirecTV customer for 28 years, and never been late on a payment. Dropping Newsmax stinks of censorship. You have a right to run your business like you see fit, but this was an important channel for my wife and me.  That's it for us! We are dropping our DirecTV service after all t
