VIP 2262 DVR, video feed darkens on any channel (ST or High Def) after about 30 seconds
Just got a new Uverse DVR, replaced the HDMI cable. Our video feed (live or recorded) on any channel gets dark after about 30 seconds. Very annoying. Suggestions?

Good morning, Raingal! We understand that your TV darkens after about 30 seconds. We can help you with that.
Our first step is always going to be to Troubleshoot you DVR. Try the steps in the aforementioned link to make sure that base is covered.
We do want to remind you that the AT&T TV equipment has no effects the brightness of the TV. That has do to a light-blub or tube that is directly in the TV that could be going out. If that is the case then you will have to contact the TV manufacture in order to get a replacement.

Can you plug it into the problematic TV?
What happens when you watch a DVD, Netflix or anything else?
What happens when you plug the U-Verse DVR or another receiver into another HDMI input?
