Uverse TV "movie channel" says "off air," but is playing a movie
We are seeing a move on channel 960 right now (also on 945) ... which is also an HBO movie. But we do not have HBO. Is there some sort of special going on? Also those channels both say "off air" on our directory, yet we see a movie.

I don't know that the OP is referring to DirecTV or UverseTV but I can confirm their observation of an HBO movie being shown on 945 and 960 in the UVERSE lineup.
Why? Who knows. There is no HBO preview and even if there was, it would be on the 'regular' HBO channels.
As my momma would say: "Don't look a gift horse in the mouth."

Thanks. We are slightly worried about hacks and unauthorized charges, so hopefully tis freebie.
