U-verse signal lost

We currently across all TV’s that have U-verse boxes get program interruption with “U-verse signal has been lost. It happens intermittently and when it does it will be spaced about 5 minutes apart. These are all Ethernet wired devices. We have had AT&T technicians out on more than one occasion. They have replaced the Gateway 3 times and the main DVR recorder and to no avail. Can you please help us out as this is very aggravating as you can imagine! I might add this is in a brand new home we just built. We have Fiber optic service all the way into the Gateway.

Did they test the connections? Technicians have a handheld device that can test signal strength coming through the wires.

Another idea might be to replace the coax from the gateway to the DVR, if you haven't already done so.

I don’t believe they tested the signal strength.

We have changed out the cable from the Gateway to the DVR.

Hi there, @Randymont. We understand that your U-Verse TV keeps losing signal. We want to look into that with you.

As you stated, you have already changed out the router and main DVR several times. Since the replacements have been done, it's time to look at this deeper.

In order for us to be more intrusive in our investigation, we will need to move this conversation to the AT&T Direct Message space. You will notice a chat icon, next to bell icon, in the upper right portion on this thread, next to your Forums icon. Our next message will appear there. We look forward to resolving your U-Verse TV once and for all.
