UVERSE remote app won't connect to DVR receivers
If anyone from AT&t reviews this board, please pass this along to the developers of your Android U-verse app. I'm experiencing the same problem as described in this thread:
This is not an issue with the network in my house. I am running the U-verse app on an iPhone 6 with iOS 12 installed. It works just fine. The app also works on devices in my home running Android 7 and on my Kindle Fire. The remote app will not connect to any DVR with any of my devices that are running Android 9 - this includes Pixel 2, S7 Edge, and a Note 9. The remote control app was working correctly prior to the upgrade to Android 9. Now it will not connect to the DVRs. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the app and deleted the cache. I've reset the router and the U-verse Gateway several times - and as I've said the remote control app works on iOS 12, Android version 7, and whatever the latest Kindle Fire OS is.

Also, minor annoyance... I can't wake the DVR from sleep with any Android device. My iPhone will wake the DVR though.

Here is more information on how to troubleshoot the U-verse app.
You may want to:
This will help with the remote function not being recognized by the receivers and will get rid of anything affecting the app.

Not yet for Android. Just to put things in perspective I believe the iOS app has been broken for over 6 months before it got fixed.
