Uverse programing guide errors

Every year, the F1 racing practice sessions, qualification session, and sometimes even the actual race are listed on either ESPN, ESPN2, ESPNU, ETC.  Almost every time it is the incorrect channel listing.  I record all the F1 and instead of getting F1,  I get Pat McAffry or some basketball stuff.  Right this second, I am recording F1 on ESPN as listed on the guide, but it is on ESPN2.  Why can they not get it right.  Year after year. And the ESPN online program site list the channel correctly so it is a Uverse problem

HI @chculley,

I understand your concern. Let's get the help you need.

To fix the incorrect channel listing, please follow the below steps.

The problem is with the listings that are on " att.com". Go there and log into a uverse account. Select "myAT&T", "Digital TV", and then "Channel Line Up" under "My TV Service". Near the top left your zip code will be shown with a link next to it that says "change" Change it to "32080" and you will get the line up I am speaking

These quick fixes will resolve many U-verse TV errors.

  • Restart your U-verse receiver(s) by holding down the POWER button for ten seconds, then pressing again to restart. (This takes 5-8 minutes and will impact any DVR recordings in progress.)
  • Restart your Wi-Fi gateway by removing the power cord for two minutes then plugging it back in (will interrupt AT&T service).
  • Check for snug and secure video cables connecting your TV, gateway, and receiver.

NOTE: If you see the message The recording conflict could not be cleared, try canceling one or more recordings, or turning off one or more receivers.

Note: AT&T Subscribers with U200 and above (and those with the grandfathered U100 package) have access to ESPN live on their computer, tablet, smartphone, or connected device. Members need to sign in using their U-verse email and password in order to access.
